T-nuts work great, when paired with machine screws, for mounting speakers, but you can also use them on just about any application where regular screws could pull or strip out.
The 8-32 are 4 prong, The 10-32 and 1/4x20 size are 6 prong..Not your typical hardware store items!

  • 8-32 Great for mounting smaller speakers or cabinet hardware.
  • 10-32 Our most popular size. For mounting 10, 12, or 15 inch speakers, but also a great size for cabinet handles, casters, etc.
  • 1/4"x20 Used mostly for 15"or 18" speakers, but also useful for large casters, and other heavy hardware.
