Plastic pocket style handle. These are Penn Elcom handles and are about 25% heavier than most of the import models commonly sold on Amazon and Ebay. (Goldwood, Miyako, etc).
These measure 5-1/4" wide by 3-3/8" tall and require a 3-3/4" x 2-1/8" cutout.
